Brief Description:  Left wing fuel tank part #18

Got in for a little session tonight. I'll be around the entire weekend, so I'm looking forward to getting the ribs sealed and 100% cecloed in place.

I started off tonight with cleaning the the rivet holes for the T-406B fuel cap flange and the VA-112 fuel drain flange.

Once the the holes were cleaned with acetone, I set the 3-4 rivets in acetone for cleaning. The rivets were back riveted with my back riveting set (34 PSI was used) after the holes were filled with proseal. Once set, they were given a dab of proseal and the skin surface and exterior part of the flange cleaned.

Moving onto the fuel cap flange, a number of different rivet sizes were used. I used four 3-6, four 3-5, and two 3-4.5 rivets after they were cleaned with acetone. These were used due to the concave shape of the flange. After all of the rivets were set and then sealed and covered, I had a "Oh crap moment". I forgot to rivet the T-714 vent line clip to the flange.

I had to clean the area of the rivet, drill it out and then redo the rivet with the T-714 in place. I used a 3-5 for that due to the thickness of the T-714. All is good.

Onto the ribs.
